EKITI GRAZING MANAGEMENT SEIZES COWS OVER DESTRUCTION OF FARM PRODUCE

Ekiti State Government has called on those grazing cows to stop using them in destroying farm produce in the State.

The coordinator, Ekiti State Grazing Management Programme, Chief Niyi Adedipe known as Apase made the call in Ijesa Isu Ekiti, when he led other officers to seize some cows that desroyed farm produce in the town, after complaints by some farmers.

Chief Adedipe expressed dissatisfaction on how some people were still grazing cows to destroy farms produce in this century, saying such was an act of wickedness and uncalled for.

The Coordinator of Ekiti State Grazing Management Programme noted that under present administration led by Governor Biodun Oyebanji, there would not be room for anybody to graze animls to destroy farm produce.

He said officers of the Grazing Management Programme would be moving round towns and villages to prevent those grazing animals to destroy produce and urged farmers not to engage in fights with anybody in the Intrest of existing peace and harmony in the State
