EKITI COUNCIL OF TRADITIONAL RULERS GETS NEW CHAIRMAN

The Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, has approved the appointment of His Royal Majesty, Oba Ayorinde Ilori Faboro, the Olojudo of Ido-Faboro, as the new Chairman of the Ekiti State Council of Traditional Rulers.

According to a statement by the State Deputy Governor, Chief Monisade Afuye, the appointment will run for a two- year period beginning from 1st August, 2023 to 1st August, 2025.

This appointment follows the expiration of the tenure of His Royal Majesty, Oba Ayodele Gabriel Adejuwon, the Onisan of Isan- Ekiti.

The government appreciates the traditional rulers for the prayers, support and immesurable contributions to the uplift of Ekiti in all spheres.

The government congratulates the council members on this feat and pray for a successful tenure for the new leadership while appreciating their support for the outgone Chairman and the incoming one.
