EKITI COMMISSIONER DONATES FOOD STUFF, BEVERAGES TO APC MEMBERS

...seeks support for Oyebanji’s second term ambition

Ekiti State Commisioner for Trade, Industry, Investment and Cooperative, Mrs Omotayo Adeola has donated beverages, food stuff and cash gifts to all Muslims and Christians across the thirteen APC wards in Ado.

Speaking during the distribution of the items, the Commisioner for trade, industry, investment and cooperative, Mrs Omotayo Adeola explained that the gesture was to associate with Muslims and Christians during this fast period.

She therefore noted that present administration had empowered many youths and women through her office in Agriculture, establishment of business, loan grants among others means to make them employers of labour and reduce number of unemployed people in Ekiti State.

Her submissions “We want to use this opportunity to thank all the party excos in Ado, they have been so good.

“As usual, I also want to appreciate our principal, His Excellency, Governor Biodun Oyebanji for the Shared Prosperity Agenda of his administration”

“During Ramadan, this is what we do on yearly basis, I’m here again this year; thank God this year’s Ramadan and Lent are coming together, this is just our appreciation to all our party faithfuls”

“We must also thank the President for the N50,000 NANO grant which started last year, he’s been with us on this journey. In all the wards, the chairmen have confirmed that they have received the 50k NANO grant, all thanks to Mr Governor in making sure that Ekiti people are getting what they deserved”

“Apart from that, we have also organized training for people, give them post-COVID action grants. When the Vice President was in the state, people got empowerment as well”

“We also Access loan going on and people have been getting it; we want to urge them to continue supporting mr governor”

“Our governor has done really well and when someone has done well, you’ll want to encourage the person to do better. We want to encourage our people to continue the support our governor and they will reap the dividends of his administration”

Mrs Adeola who called on the residents, especially youths in Ekiti State to key into Agricultural programme put in place by governor Biodun Oyebanji for food security sought residents support for the governor beyond first term in office.

In their separate remarks, some of the APC Wards Chairmen in Ado Ekiti, Mrs Oja Rasaq, Mr lateef Salami, Babalola Tajudeen, Mr Ibitoye Liberty, the party Chairman in Ado Local Government, Mr. Michael Akinleye and Ado Central LCDA Chairman, Mr Toyin Ojo
commended Mrs Omotayo Adeola’s efforts in carrying them along in the State empowerment schemes, saying such has helped them to able to meet the needs of their families.

Some of the beneficiaries appreciated the Commisioner for Trade, Industry, Investment and Cooperative for the gesture and pledged their unalloyed support for present administration led by Governor Biodun Oyebanji.
