Edo Deputy Gov. Allegedly Denied Access to Office

The Deputy Governor of Edo State, Phillip Shaibu has been reportedly denied access to his office at the Government House in the State Capital, Benin.

Roundoffnews gathered that, the State House on Monday morning was chained and padlocked, leaving the Deputy Governor stranded in the vicinity before leaving about an hour after waiting.

The Deputy Governor said, “Up till now, I don’t have any official communication that I should relocate. The only people that have official communication are my civil servants. The civil servants have official communication but I don’t. As I am speaking to you now, I am standing by the gate,” The Punch reported.
