Easter: Joseph and Oreoluwa Agbomoagan foundation put smiles on faces of Elders

The Joseph and Oreoluwa Agbomoagan foundation in Ikere Ekiti, has again made Elders smile ahead of the Easter celebration.

The foundation in its usual manner gave out food items to the Elders who besieged the Agbomoagan family house in Ikere Ekiti.

In her welcome address, a representative of the foundation, Mrs Bolanle Akinmolafe congratulated the elders on witnessing another Easter.

She said the foundation had been touching lives in Ekiti State as it recently paid millions of Naira for the NECO fees of senior secondary school students selected from communities across the state.

Mrs Akinmolafe solicited prayers from the Elders for the founder of the foundation, promising that more are still in the offing for the vulnerable, widows and Elders in the state.

Earlier A cleric, Venerable Agbede emphasized the need for everyone to cultivate the habit of giving, stressing that blessing of God will not depart the house of cheerful giver.

He implored the beneficiaries to continue to prayer for the donor, as well called on other well to do Ekiti indigenes to reach out to the less privileged.

Speaking with newsmen after the program the founder, Mr Lugard Agbomoagan said the gesture was to give back to the parents who had laboured in the past for the growth of the community.

“We understand the fact that our aging parents can no longer go out to work, as we can still go out to work, and at this yuletide season, it is their right to be taken care of, so we are here all the time to tell them that we care for them, to say we appreciate all they did for us when they could still work, and to make them happy”. He said

Mr Agbomoagan said the foundation will always prioritize the well-being of the aged and would continue to strive to cater for them

“So whatever token we give to them is to make sure they celebrate the season in joy and happiness, that is why we do this all the time”

The beneficiares thanked the donor and prayed for his success.

About 150 aged benefitted from the largesse
