DON’T BE “A RUBBER-STAMP”, SDP CHARGES ONDO 10TH ASSEMBLY

The Social Democratic Party SDP has called on the Ondo State 10th Assembly to be good ambassadors of their people.

In a statement in Akure, Ondo State, state chairman of the party ,Hon Stephen Adewale noted that the people of their constituents entrust in them their votes , therefore ,they should not turn themselves to rubber-stamp as witnessed in previous house.

Adewale said further that , the people of the state will definately be expecting nothing below good performance from the lawmakers.

” it is a good thing that the country is experiencing transition from one civilian rule to the other as well, the law makers in the state should wake up to their task’

“they should all be ready to serve and represent diligently rather than being a rubber stamp or sell out”

The party chairman therefore urged them to legislate on policies that are peoples oriented and accepted by all.

It would be recalled that the 10th Assembly was inaugurated at the weekend where Rt Hon Olamide Oladiji from Ondo East emerged the speaker.
