C-19RM GRANT CYCLE 7 BEGINS WITH NEW LGs

…as CBOs Holds Coordination Meeting

C-19RM Grant Cycle 7 has commenced in Ekiti after the 6th Cycle was rounded off last year.

The programme started with the monthly coordination meeting by the Community Based Organizations CBOs that will be working on the project.

The C-19RM Grant is a project sponsored by Global Fund with the aim of mobilizing communities to take ownership of primary health facilities in their areas and complement government’s efforts towards enhancing their capacities.

In an address of welcome, the State Coordinator for TB Network, Dr. Taiwo Benson commended everyone for their efforts so far and charged them to always document the work done for each day of the month.

Also the Programme Officer, Mrs. Funke Omojola listed the new 5 LGAs where the project would be implemented which are, Gbonyi, Ikere, Ekiti South West, Ekiti West, Ido Osi.

Similarly, the TB, Programme Manager, Mr. Orojo J. Adebayo hoped that the project would bring a positive change in the health sector.

He commended the officials for their efforts as Ekiti State CBO is one of the most coordinator among CBOs in the country.
