Bode George Faults Tinubu’s Suspension of Fuel Subsidy

Former South-West People’s Democratic Party, PDP Deputy National Chairman, Bode George has faulted President Bola Ahmed Tinubu removal of fuel subsidy in the country, saying his decision was sudden and lacks public opinion.

He made this statement during an interactive session with Arise News today.

According to him, the President failed to consider the impact of his decision on Nigerians which to him is a product of poor public management.

He said, “The decision of the President to remove fuel subsidy was too sudden, he should have considered the opinion of the public and the effect of his decisions to the Nigerians who are at the receiving end.

“If I were to suggest, I would have advised that an empowerment programme should be first created for the youth to reduce its impact on Youth. is because the President has failed to consider adequate public management.”
