…charges Government to prioritize needs of downtrodden
The General overseer of Jesus Prayer Ministry International, Ado Ekiti, Apostle Temitope Adeseemo has donated food items for the children of Erelu Adebayo Children’s Home, Iyin Ekiti and Inmates at correctional Centre Ado Ekiti to celebrate his birthday.
Less privileged in Atikankan area of Ado Ekiti were also not left out of the free food items distributed by the Religious leader.
Handing over the food items to the children and the inmates in separate programmes, Apostle Temitope Adeseemo noted that he decided to celebrate with the less privileged in the Society to give them sense of belonging.
The religious leader called on well-meaning Nigerians to always use their wealth to assist those in need, saying such would be accepted by God.
He also promised to pay NECO fees of some inmates at the Correctional Centre with an appeal to people not to forget them, saying they need assistance at this period.
Recieving the food items from Apostle Adeseemo, one of the caregivers in Erelu Angela Adebayo Home thanked the prophet and promised that the items would be used judiciously.
Also, at the Correctional Centre, Ado Ekiti, the controller of corrections, represented by ACC Tope Amele appreciated Apostle Adeseemo for the gesture, urging other well to do in the Society to partner with the correctional centre to adequately rehabilitate those serving jail term.
He explained that such rehabilitation would make them responsible and be a law abiding Nigerians after leaving the correctional centre.
The children of the Erelu Adebayo Angela Home sang to appreciate the celebrant and wished him long life and prosperous years while the inmates who could not hide their feelings prayed for the cleric and those in his entourage .
The birthday celebration will hold at Queen’s Court along Ado Ikere road on Saturday
