…says the blessings of elders working for him
The leadership of the Nigeria Union of Pensioners, Ekiti State has affirmed that the Best Governor Award bestowed on Governor Oyebanji is one of the manifestations of the blessings and prayers of the senior citizens.
Chairman of the Union, Comrade Joel Akinola stated this in a congratulatory statement on behalf of the SAC and SEC of the Union.
According to the NUP Chairman, the senior citizens are not surprised that Governor Oyebanji is making waves and excelling among his counterparts because the Governor has shown rare respect and care for the pensioners through prompt payment of their benefits.
He said whosoever cares for the elderly will definitely find favour beyond human imagination.
Comrade Akinola congratulated the Governor and prayed God to continue to uphold him and lead him aright so as to be able to record more successes.
The NUP Chairman affirmed that the award would spur the Governor to improve on service to his people.
