AWARD WINNING JOURNALIST, FISOYE ADENITAN BURIES MUM IN ODO AYEDUN EKITI

The remains of late Madam Abosede Areola, the mother of Fisoye Adenitan have been laid to rest in Odo Ayedun Ekiti, Ikole Local Government.

Late Abosede Areola who hailed from Owo, Ondo State died at the age of sixty five.

Speaking during the burial service for the late Madam Bosede Areola at Methodist Church, Odo Ayedun Ekiti, the priest incharge of the Church, Reverend Akin Akinlade described late Madam Areola as a mother indeed and lover of all who served God diligently.

He said she was always available for the service of God and dedicated the better part of her life to serve humanity.

The Cleric expressed the belief that her contributions to Church of God was second to non, saying that she would be accepted by God.

Reverend Akinlade appealed to Nigerians to live a life worthy of emulation, noting that such would speak a big volume after they might have died.

In an interview, one of the Children of the deceased, Mrs Fisoye Adenitan who is a staff of Radio Nigeria, positive FM, Akure, Ondo State noted that her mother would be greatly missed.

Mrs Adenitan said that it was only God that can fill the vacuum left by her mother and wish her eternal rest.

The husband of Fisoye, Mr. Adenitan Akinola described the deceased as a woman that truly loves every one around her.

The Burial programme which was well attended by media professionals including General Manager Radio Nigeria, progress FM, Ado Ekiti, Dr Bola Agbaje, former Chairman of Nigeria Union of Journalists, Ekiti State, Comrade Rotimi Ojomoyela and the incumbent Chairman, Comrade Kayode Babatuyi featured tributes by members of various associations Mama belonged to during her life time.
