APC Primary: Dele Philips Dissociates Camp from Aramoko, Ijero Protest

By Roundoffnews

The leading contestant for house of representatives in Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 2, Mr. Dele Philips has dissociated himself and his team from the Protest in Ijero-Ekiti and Aramoko-Ekiti over the disruption of the Primary Election held in Aramoko-Ekiti on Friday.

The business mogul who was reacting to the development   condemned the HOODLUMS who are said to be involved in that process.

The primary election was disrupted by an aide to the former chief of staff, Biodun Omoleye as  the party leaders and followers had to vacate the premises.

Mr. Dele Philips emphasized that he had never been involved in act that would truncate the peaceful co-existence among the people of the State, especially EKITI CENTRAL FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY 2.

He  was worried that an election that is not supposed to involve violence was  attached with personal and selfish interest.

Dele Philips therefore urged party leaders, especially Governor Kayode Fayemi to intervene, even at a period the pride of Ekiti State is vying for the most exhalted  position in the country.

Others who reacted including Some party leaders, Hon. Jide Odebunmi expressed worry that this is happening when the Governor is contesting to be at the helms of affairs in Nigeria.

To Hon. Ebenezer Adebusuyi, it is a great signal that the people carrying out this act are not in line with the plan of the APC to ensure the victory of its candidate, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji.
