Ado Residents Count Losses Over Incessant Robbery Attacks

Residents of Ayedun Quarters, Olaofe street, Basiri Ado Ekiti are counting their losses at the wake of incessant robbery attacks and burgling of houses in the area.

This followed a recent house breaking where shops and houses were raided by night marauders with an undisclosed huge sum of money as well as food materials allegedly carted away.

The house owners in the area told newsman in Ado Ekiti that the dastardly acts could be allegedly traced to some jobless youths who are in the habit of smoking hemp in the area urging police to come to their aid.

Some of the landlords who were victims of the attacks disclosed that shops and houses were robbed as goods  as well as money amounting to thousands of Naira were carted away.

They alleged that some miscreants normally used a public primary school near the area to take cover and smoke hemps before coming out in the dark to perpatrate the dastardly acts.

They however appealed passionately to the government of Ekiti State to ensure that security of lives and properties remained Paramount.
