1st Anniversary: Ekiti Nurses shower encomium on Governor Oyebanji

…encourages him to employ more nurses to enhance health care delivery

The National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives, Ekiti State has felicitated the state Governor, Mr. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji and the Deputy, Chief Monisade Afuye on the celebration of their first anniversary in office.

This is contained in a statement jointly signed by the chairman of the Association, Mr. Oladimeji Samuel- Adegbuyi the Secretary, Mrs. Olabisi Ayenioye and the PRO Mrs. Odunayo Olufunmilayo.

According to the statement, the one year reign of the Governor has been characterized with outstanding achievements in virtually all the sectors of the economy.

It appreciates the Governor for the uncommon love and support for workers particularly nurses especially in the areas of Human Capital Development, welfare packages, domestication of the new entry point for graduate nurse as obtainable in other states and provision of conducive working environment.

The statement however appeals to the Governor to consider the employment of more professional nurses in all the primary, secondary and tertiary health facilites across the state to further enhanced health care delivery.

It prays God to continue to strengthen the Governor and give him the wisdom, knowledge and understanding to consolidate on the current success in the coming years.
