…says attempt to ensure National Assembly works with Tinubu

Former Presidential Aspirant and All Progressives Congress, APC Chieftain, Adamu Garba has said Senator Godwin Akpabio is backed by the opposition parties and President-Elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He said this today via his official Twitter handle @adamugarba adding that, it is an alignment to a renewed Hope for industrialisation, growth, job creation, and productivity.
“So far, 69 senators have signed, endorsing the Joint Akpabio/Barau ticket. The list includes senators of LP, SDP, PDP, and NNPP.”
According to him, it is an attempt to ensure that the National Assembly works with the President-Elect, Tinubu.
Also, he said, “40 senators accompanied the incoming Senate President Godswill Akpabio and Deputy Senate President, Barau Jibrin at a Lagos media parley.”
Meanwhile, Orji Kalu, Sani Musa, and others are APC members who are unhappy with the decision and have written to the Chairman to review the decision.
