…pledges continuous support for his administration
The Ekiti State Council of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has congratulated Governor Biodun Oyebanji on his victory in the APC governorship primary election.
In a statement in Ado Ekiti, NLC Chairman in Ekiti State, Comrade Kolapo Olatunde described Oyebanji’s win as well deserved, saying it is a significant step towards his re-election bid in 2026.
Comrade Olatunde said the victory further indicated that Governor Oyebanji has done well and had earned the respect and trust of Ekiti people , saying it would give him opportunity to consolidate on his achievements, during his second term in office.
Speaking on the resounding victory, Comrade Olatunde stated that all the noise being made by his opponents that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was opposed to Oyebanji’s second term bid, would be laid to rest.
The EKiti NLC Ekiti Chairman urged those who were opposed to the governor’s re-election to accept his olive branch and display loyalty to to him , by working towards his victory in the June 20,2026 election.
He therefore congratulated entire labour force in Ekiti State, believing that their prayers have been answered for Oyebanji’s administration and promised that members of the number one labour union would not relent in his support for his administration.
The governor had expressed confidence in the APC’s ability to conduct successful governorship primaries and win the election
