…promises to support Governor Oyebanji’s re-election bid
A prominent son of Ado Ekiti and Accounting Expert, Prince Ayodele Adebolu has joined the All Progressives Congress, APC, in EKiti State.
Prince Adebolu, who retired from the Federal Inland Revenue Service, FIRS, after spending many years with outstanding achievements, formally declared to be a member of the ruling party during its ward 9 meeting in Ado-Ekiti.
Addressing members and leaders of the party during the meeting held in Oriapata Ado-Ekiti, Prince Adebolu explained that he pitched his tent with APC due to the outstanding and brilliant performances of Governor Biodun Oyebanji.
Prince Adebolu noted that Governor Oyebanji has done well in every sectors of the economy such as, roads construction, workers’ welfare, infrastructural development, open door policy, among others adding that it prompted his decision to join APC.
The Accounting Expert promised to join hands with others members of the party to mobilize for Governor Oyebanji during next month primary of the party.
Ealier, Ekiti State Chairman of APC, Mr Sola Elesin and Ado EKiti Local Government party Chairman, Mr Micheal Akinleye said that members of the party are ready for the primary, saying that Governor Oyebanji would win during the elections and welcomed the new member to the ruling party fold.
Mr Elesin therefore called on members to obtain their membership cards in preparation for the primary and warned members against anti party activities, saying anyone caught would be dealt in line with the constitution of the party
On his own, APC Chairman in Ado Ekiti Local Government, Mr Micheal Akinleye warned members of the party not to release their membership and voters cards to anyone all in the name to help them facilitate loans.
The APC leaders therefore commended the commitment of members of the Ado Local Government ward 9 for the progress and development of the party, saying those that were not given appointment should exercise patient as they would be remembered very soon.
