The Founder of Holy Trinity Authority Prophetic Church, Prophet James Omitade, has urged Nigerian leaders at all levels to serve the people with utmost integrity, sincerity and genuineness.
Prophet Omitade made the call while speaking on the need for responsible and accountable leadership in the country.
He stressed that leadership should be regarded as a sacred responsibility and an opportunity to positively impact the lives of the people, rather than a means of personal enrichment or self-interest.
According to him, Nigerian leaders must demonstrate genuine commitment to the welfare of the citizens by putting the interests of the people above personal and political considerations.
The cleric called on political leaders to uphold transparency, accountability and honesty in the discharge of their responsibilities, noting that the progress and development of Nigeria depend largely on the quality and sincerity of its leadership.
Prophet Omitade further encouraged leaders to fulfil their promises to the people and ensure that public resources are judiciously utilised for the benefit of the society.
He said genuine leadership requires courage, fairness, compassion and a strong sense of responsibility, urging those in positions of authority to leave a positive legacy for future generations.
The founder also called on Nigerians to support leaders who demonstrate good character and competence, stressing that nation-building requires the collective efforts of both leaders and citizens.
He expressed optimism that Nigeria would overcome its challenges if leaders embraced integrity, genuine service and the fear of God in the administration of the country.
