…says Ekiti, now model for good governance
A former member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Bimbo Daramola has affirmed that Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji is gradually putting the state on global map in terms of good governance and qualitative leadership.
Daramola who spoke while reacting to the award of the Governor as Silverbird Man of the Year, noted that every Ekiti person irrespective of political and religious differences is proud of Governor Oyebanji for changing the negative narratives and attracting positive attention to the state from across the globe.
Daramola who is the convener of the wellness walk known as BAOWALK congratulated the Governor for the recognition and encourage him to keep pushing for more excellence.
According to him, the award didn’t just come on a silver platter, citing his people-oriented policies, infrastructure development, and ability to connect with the people as major reasons for such recognition.
He said:”Oyebanji’s award is a testament to his administration’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and integrity. The Governor has been credited with repositioning Ekiti State towards shared prosperity for its people.
“Oyebanji’s inspiring leadership has demonstrated that good governance is possible if the right people are allowed to govern.
Daramola used the avenue to invite friends, associates and members of the public to the IJERO BAOWALK coming up on Sunday the 22nd of March, 2025.
