You’re not Ministers of any State, Religion- Tinubu Charges Newly Sworn-in Minister

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has charged the newly sworn-in Ministers on the need to propagate peace and tolerance in the Country, saying that, they are not Ministers of any State, Religion, or colony.

The President made the charge following the recent inauguration of the appointed Ministers in Abuja, today.

According to him, the ministerial role comes with great responsibility, as such, tasked them on the need to exhibit their duties accountably to the Country.

He said, “All that have been sworn in today, are highly expected of delivery and accountability. Serve with integrity and deliver effectively. You are not a minister of any state, religion, or colony but a minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

” Your assignment begins immediately, we have promised Nigerians a renewed hope, it is our highest obligation to represent the public so that the public can know that the Government can be a vehicle for transformation and renewed hope.

“The entire Nigerians are behind, sitting and watching as we navigate this vehicle, we must hold each other responsible. I say again, you are not a minister of any state, religion, or colony but a minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”
