The Speaker of Ekiti State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adeoye Aribasoye has described the news of the death of the Governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu’s as devastating and disturbing.
Aribasoye in a live interaction on a Channels Television programme, Lunchtime Politics said the late Akeredolu was fearless, dogged and thorough adding that he still displayed the activism in him even as a sitting governor.
The Ekiti Speaker who his pupilage in law under Akeredolu’s chamber noted that he was a meticulous lawyer and a goal getter who instilled boldness in his subjects.
Rt. Hon. Aribasoye recalled that the late governor condemned things he considered unacceptable even within his political party.
He said Akeredolu would be missed by the people of Ondo and Ekiti states , as well as Nigerians in general.
