Wike Inaugurates Road in Rivers

…expresses neutrality in presidential election

Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, today, inaugurated the Akpabu-Egbeda Road linking to Elele-Omoku Road, Rivers State.

The Governor, whose administration focused on infrastructural reconstruction in the state commissioned the road to enhance its effectiveness.

The governor revealed his neutrality for any political candidate in the just concluded presidential election, pegging his reasons on his concern for the unity of Nigeria.

He revealed, “These things have nothing to do about parties, it has to do with the unity and oneness of Nigeria. That Is why I commend the APC Governors who came out boldly despite the fact that they were in power, they said in this country we are one.

“So, whether you voted for Obi or you voted for Asiwaju, I have no problem with you.”

While making reference to the forthcoming gubernatorial elections, he urged residents of the state to vote rational, bearing in mind the unity of the country.
