WHY WE ENDORSED AJONI CHAIRMAN FOR SECOND TERM…APC LEADERS SPEAK

..as chairman felicitates Muslims on celebration of Eld-el-kabir

Some stakeholders and leaders of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Ajoni Local Council Development Area have endorsed the chairman of the LCDA, Prince Michael Ogungbemi for a second term in office.

Just like the universal dictum which says, one good turn deserves another, the stakeholders affirmed that the chairman had done beyond expectations hence he should be given another chance to consolidate on his past achievements.

The endorsement came to being during a meeting held in Ipao Ekiti recently following a motion moved  by a leader of the party Chief Biodun Akin-Fasae and seconded by Chief Niyi Ojo.

According to the stakeholders,  the bases for the endorsement of the chairman was due to the outstanding performances of
Prince Michael Ogungbemi which include School constructions, drilling of boreholes for portable water, Construction of health centers, empowerment of small and medium scale business owners, security, road maintenance, gradings to mention just a few.

Present at the meeting were Baba S. A Abejide, Prince Ola Adeniyi, Chief Biodun Akin Fasae, Bar. Adeyeye, Chief Niyi Ojo, Dr. Ireti Fabunmi, Hon.Sola Olominu, All Ward Chairmen of the party in Ajoni LCDA amongst others.

Reacting, the Chairman commended the stakeholders for the endorsement. He promised to continue to provide good governance, and service delivery including the provision of infrastructure to improve the LCDA.

Meanwhile, the Ajoni LCDA chairman has congratulated all Muslims in the area for successful celebration of this year’s Eld-el-kabir, with a prayer to Allah to preserve their lives to witness many more celebrations.

Prince Ogungbemi also rejoiced with the President League of Imams and Alfas, Southwest, Edo and Delta, Alhaji Jamiu Kewulere, the SSG, Dr. Habibat Adubiaro, and all top government functionaries who are Muslims for witnessing the festival praying Allah to accept their sacrifices.
