Use Social Media to Project Adire Globally…Ekiti First Lady Urges Trainees

Ekiti State First Lady, Dr Olayemi Oyebanji, has urged the Adire Ekiti Trainees to ensure they market their products on social media to attract customers. She also told them that the approach is capable of giving Ekiti State another name in the global economic landscape.

Dr. Oyebanji gave the advice during her visit to Adire Ekiti Hub on Friday to inspect and encourage another set of Trainees from the Ekiti Central Senatorial District.

According to her, “we are in the age of social media. Marketing online is the way people would get to know about what we produce in Ekiti to the world”.

The Governor’s wife who expressed satisfaction with the finished products of the trainees encouraged them to make judicious use of the training and showcase it beyond Ekiti and its environ.

While shedding more light on online marketing and advertising, she pointed out that taking the right channels and getting good patronage would reduce poverty in the land.

For further inquiry, more knowledge acquisition and large scale production, the first lady asked the trainees not to hesitate to come back to the hub in future.

Dr Oyebanji appreciated ALGON for training this particular set of young women in Adire production, describing it as a way of giving back to the society.

She appealed to the trainees to continue giving their support to the Oyebanji led Administration for more dividend of democracy and shared prosperity.

Speaking on behalf of the trainees, Mrs Kehinde Onipede appreciated the kind gesture of the first lady and described her as a true mother worthy of emulation.

They promised to support the current administration under Governor Oyebanji, describing him as a God-sent to the state.
