Udiroko: Asiwaju Ndigbo Greets Ewi of Ado Ekiti

Extols Oba Adejugbe’s Giant Strides

The Asiwaju Ndigbo of Ado-Ekiti, High Chief Nathaniel Amaechi Uzomah and the Yeye Asiwaju of Ndigbo Chief Lolo has congratated the Ewi of Ado Ekiti, Oba Adeyemo Adejugbe for the grace of God that sustained him to witness another new year in the Ado Ekiti calendar known as Udiroko festival scheduled to hold on Saturday.

In a statement in Ado Ekiti, High Chigh Uzomah also felicitated the Eyesorun Abosede Adejugbe, the Ewi in Council, Olories and all the various aged groups in the town.

He prayed God to continue to preserve the life of the Ewi to witness many more Udiroko in good health and abundance

Uzomah extolled the giant strides of Ewi of Ado-Ekiti, Oba Adeyomo Adejugbe towards the growth and development of Ado and Ekiti at large.

The High Chief described Oba Adejugbe’s reign as advantageous to the good people of the state through capacity building and human-oriented programmes.

High Chief Uzomah noted that the Ewi of Ado Ekiti has exemplified leadership traits which has endeared him to the people of Ekiti and beyond.

He enjoined the Oba to continue the good works as the traditional custodian of the people noting that he has been able to resolve communal issues for peaceful coexistence.

While urging the Oba to continue paving way for peace and development in the state, he also urged the people of the state to continue to rally support for the Oba for more development to thrive.

The Asiwaju Ndigb also urged all Igbo sons and daughters to converge at the Ewi’ palace for the celebration and after the celebration, they shall all proceed to his residence for further celebration.
