Trouble looms as Tinubu Orders DSS to Vacate EFCC Office

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has ordered the officials of the Department of State Services, DSS to immediately vacate the Ikoyi office in Lagos which reportedly belong to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

This was obtained from the Official Twitter Media Center Account of the President @ABATMediaCentre.

Recall that DSS on Tuesday Stormed the EFCC office located in Awolowo Road, Ikoyi, Lagos preventing officials of the Crime Agency from gaining access to the vicinity.

In a statement signed by Tunde Rahman from the State House Presidential Villa, Abuja, the President noted that if there were any issue going on between the agencies it would be resolved amicably.

The statement reads: “President Bola Tinubu has directed the Department of State Security Service to immediately vacate the office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission in Ikoyi, Lagos.

“The President said if there were issues between the two important agencies of government, they would be resolved amicably.”
