President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has said he is committed to complete the construction of the River Niger road in Kogi State and roads linking the state and Abuja.
Tinubu said this lately during the flagoff of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Kogi State gubernatorial campaigns in Lokoja.
The President, who was represented by the Vice President, Kashim Shettima said, “Tinubu remained committed to completing the constructions of the River Niger, the Kabba-Lokoja and the Abuja-Lokoja roads.”
As gathered from Kashim’s X handle @officialSKSM, he also noted that after the long abandoned Ajaokuta Steel Complex, it is now nearing completion, the project will have the capacity to employ 500,000 Nigerians once designated as a free trade zone.
According to him, the complex would be harnessed to boost Nigeria’s foreign direct investment and provide an avenue for creating the much-needed conducive business environment for all sectors to thrive.
