President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has commended the Nigerian Super Falcons, following the ongoing Federation of International Football Association, FIFA Women’s World Cup, despite recent loss to their England counterparts at the Knockout Match today.
The President made the commendation via his Official Twitter Account @officialABAT today.
According to him, the Super Falcons’ performance in the recent game has placed Nigeria on the global stage, hence, commending them on their strength and resilience.
He said, “I must commend the effort by our Super Falcons @NGSuper_Falcons at the FIFA Women’s World Cup. Your brilliant performance did not go unnoticed despite the final outcome. You made Nigeria proud on the global stage.”
