Terrorists Strike: 87 Abducted in Fresh Kaduna Attack

Grace Omachoko

In a renewed onslaught, terrorists raided the Kajuru-Station community, abducting 87 individuals in Kaduna State.

Confirming the incident, Harisu Dari, a member of Kajuru-Station Youths, reported the attack on Monday, revealing that the terrorists also looted shops, stealing food items and valuables.

The invasion occurred around 10 pm, marking another distressing event following the abduction of 15 women and a man just two days earlier in Dogon-Noma. With Kajuru and Chikun LGs becoming hotspots for kidnapping in recent weeks, residents remain anxious, awaiting government intervention.

Despite the ongoing trauma among villagers, no security presence has been noted yet to address the situation. This incident adds to the tally of over 172 villagers kidnapped in the region over the past two weeks.

Attempts to reach the state Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Mansir Hassan, for comment were unsuccessful at the time of reporting.
