The Petroleum Task Force set up by Ekiti State Government has sealed off four erring petrol stations within the state.

Chairman of the task force, Israel Adesokan, known as Jaru, sealed off the stations over unwholesome and fraudulent practices.

According to him, the stations have adjusted their metres thus short-changing members of the public by two litres.

He noted that for every ten litres purchased from the stations, customers get value of eight litres losing two litres to the petrol station.

Adesokan said the stations were sanctioned to serve as lesson to others who are in the habit of engaging in evil acts.

The Task Force Chairman some some other stations have been placed on watch and would be sanctioned if found guilty.
