SSANIP LEADERSHIP CONGRATULATES NEW RECTOR OF FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC, ADO EKITI

…urges him to give priority to members’ welfare

The leadership and esteemed members of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Polytechnic, SSANIP, Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti Chapter have rejoiced with Dr. Temitope John Alake over his appointment by the Federal Government as the seventh substantive rector of the Institution.

Dr. Alake who is a Chief Lecturer in the Polytechnic succeeds  the incumbent, Dr. Dayo Hephzibah Oladebeye, whose five years tenure  expires on the 22nd of this month.

In a statement made available to newsmen in Ado Ekiti, SSANIP chairman, Comrade Sunday Akomolafe and the Secretary, Comrade Victor Oke said the appointment of Dr Alake was a right decision going by his antecedents as a diligent, astute and hard working scholar who has been part of the system and understands its workings.

Comrade Akomolafe and Comrade Oke Prayed God to give the new rector wisdom, knowledge and understanding to record unprecedented successes and surpass records of his predecessors.

The SSANIP leaders appealed to Dr. Alake to justify the confidence reposed in him by given priority to welfare of SSANIP members and introduce new policies that would promote learning and teaching.

The union equally felicitated the outgoing rector, Dr. Dayo Oladebe for successful completion of his tenure saying he had done his best.

They prayed God to grant him success in his future endeavor.

The SSANIP leaders promised the readiness of leaders and members of the union to cooperate and support the new rector towards achieving success in the task ahead.
