A former House of Representatives Aspirant in Ekiti state, Honourable Sunday Ola has expressed sadness over the demise of the Speaker, Ekiti state House of Assembly, Right Honourable Funminiyi Afuye.
In a statement in Ado-Ekiti, Honourable Ola described the death of the Speaker as shocking and unspected at this moment.
The APC Chieftain identified late Funminiyi Afuye as a generous, gentle, diligent and hardworking personality who would be greatly missed.
He commiserated with Ekiti government, members of the House of Assembly, wife, children, families and the political associates of the deceased.
Honourable Sunday Ola therefore prayed God to grant the late Speaker eternal rest and forgive his shortcomings.
