SERAP wants Tinubu to withdraw appointment of APC Loyalists from INEC

By Akubulu Ngozi

The Socio-Economic Right and Accountability Project, SERAP, has sent a request to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, urging him to withdraw the alleged appointment of the All Progressive Congress, APC loyalists as top officials in the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

The body made this known via its official X Account @SERAPNigeria, lately.

As stated in the tweet, failure of the President to heed to this request would lead to a court redress.

It reads, “We urge President Tinubu to immediately withdraw the reported appointment of ‘APC loyalists’ as top INEC officials. We’ll see in court if this blatant violation of the Nigerian Constitution and international law is not reversed.”
