RESIDENTS GROAN AS FUEL SCARCITY HITS ADO EKITI

Motorists and consumers of fuel in Ado Ekiti on Wednesday went through hard times before they could get the commodity which has become so scarce in the last few days.

Many filling stations in Ado Ekiti did not open for operation on the account that they have run out of stock.

It was a tug of war at few petrol stations where the commodity was available.

Some motorists at the petrol stations visited lamented that they have spent some hours on the line calling on the concerned authorities to ensure adequate supply of petrol to the state.

Though most stations declined comment, few others said the development was owing to the fact that they couldn’t get supply from NNPC and private depot had increased their price.
