Reps Set to Screen Service Chiefs Today

The House of Representatives has revealed that its ad-hoc committee will on Monday screen the recently appointed Service Chiefs by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

This was made known yesterday in a statement published on its Twitter handle @HouseNGR.

According to the statement, the House of Rep constituted a committee to engage the appointees as part of its assignment.

Speaker Abbas Tajudeen, who announced the setting up of the panel at plenary, said all the eight principal officers of the House from the majority and minority parties would be part of the ad-hoc.

“The appointees billed for screening by the committee are Maj. Gen. C.G Musa as Chief of Defence Staff; Maj. Gen. T. A. Lagbaja as Chief of Army Staff; Rear Admiral E. A.” The statement reads.
