….as speakers charge parents to embrace Godly ways of child upbringing.
It was celebration galore today at the Redeemed Christians Church Of God RCCG, Palace of Peace, Ado Ekiti as the women marked the maiden edition of the Annual Good Women Convention.
The programme was well attended by the women who put on white attires with blue headgears to commemorate the special day.
To appreciate God, songs of praise rent the air as children added colour to the programme through a special songs to celebrate their mothers.
Talking on Responsibility of Parents, a guest speaker, Mrs Oluwaseun Ajetumobi emphasised on the need for parents to always monitor the movement of their children, teach them words of God, provide for their basic needs, give them balanced diet to enhance their growth and mental stability.
Mrs. Ajetumobi who lamented poor attitude of some parents towards their children, urged children to always obey elderly people and shun bad peers.
Also in her sermon, a Don from Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti, Professor Olasimbo Apata charged women to be of virtue that would contribute to her family and society development.
Professor Apata appealed to women not to react to their husbands based on friendship advice but act on the commandment of God.
