
The Executive Chairman of Ero LCDA, Hon. Felicia Ibiloye has distributed food items to Muslim faithfuls in six wards and seven communities, including Igogo-Ekiti, Erinmope-Ekiti, Ikun-Ekiti, Ikosu-Ekiti, Aaye Oja Ekiti, Isaoye Ekiti, and Irare Ekiti.
During her visit to the mosques in these communities, Hon. Ibiloye expressed her appreciation for the Muslim faithfuls’ unwavering support towards her administration, encouraging them to use the fasting period to pray for the Governor of the state, His Excellency Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, and Ekiti state at large.
Hon. Ibiloye also emphasized the importance of preaching love and unity during this holy month, saying “I want to thank you for the love and support given to me all the time; this program was kick-started by our father, the great unifier, the Executive Governor of the state. I am just emulating him.”
The chief Imam of Igogo central mosque, Alhaji Abdul-Ganiyu, and the chief Imam of Ikun-Ekiti, Alhaji Abdurasaq Mohammed, expressed their gratitude to the Chairman for her kindness and compassion. They also thanked the Governor for being a pace setter.
In response, Hon. Ibiloye reiterated her commitment to serving the community better and promised to make the food distribution an annual event.
The Chairman was accompanied by the Vice Chairman, Hon. Kazeem Ogunrinde, and other dignitaries.
