PPD Stakeholders Blast Fayose’s Sibling Over Unguarded Statement Against Deji Ogunsakin

A cross section of stakeholders and leaders of the People’s Democratic Party PDP in Ado-Ekiti have knocked one of the siblings of the former governor of Ekiti State,  Ayodele Fayose, Isaac Fayose over his comment in a footage where he used words against the factional chairman of the party, Hon. Deji Ogunsakin.

In the said  video which went viral on social media,  Isaac Fayose, the younger brother of the former Governor of Ekiti State,  Ayo Fayose claimed that Hon Deji Ogunsakin ran away with the sum of 35Million naira meant for party agents, elections.

Addressing journalists in Ado Ekiti, some stakeholders and leaders of the party in Ado Local Government condemned the action of Isaac Fayose for trying to drag the name of Ogunsakin in the mud.

Secretary, PDP,  Ado-Ekiti Chapter,  Oba Adegbite told newsmen that the action of the younger brother of the  former Governor Ayodele was out of mischief and malice over the emergence of Ogunsakin as the state chairman  of the party.

He said:”Can Fayose entrust the sum of 35million in Isaac’s hand let alone someone as distance as Hon. Deji Ogunsakin?

“We want to state clearly without prejudice that Mr Ayo Fayose didn’t give such funds to Hon Deji Ogunsakin at any point in time before, during and after election. Should there be any thing of such, we think Mr. Ayodele Fayose and his friend, Mr. Biodun Agbele are in the best position to explain how they did all.

“All polling agents were sorted at NTS Event Centre owned by Mr Ayo Fayose on the eve of election by his brother. Isaac should please appeal to his brother to endeavour to tell him the truth.

“To the best of our knowledge and understanding,  we make bold to say no money was given to any ward in Ado-Ekiti for security or whatever it is he’s referring to in his video.

“Deji Ogunsakin is an erudite, prudent and illustrious son of Ado-Ekiti, born into a great family with values, high repute, integrity,  discipline and pedigree.

He added that Isaac Fayose’s reckless statement on social media has brought great embarrassment to our party, the PDP and the family name of our leader Hon Deji Ogunsakin and therefore the leaders in Ado Chapter of the party were left with no option than to send a petition on  cyber stalking to the office of Deputy Inspector-General of Police,
Department of Force CID and Force Headquarters Abuja for proper investigation and questioning to ascertain the the actual fact of Isaac’s claim.

“It is within the right of Hon Deji Ogunsakin to accept the nomination of Ekiti Central leaders to replace the former State  chairman, Hon Bisi Kolowale who resigned to contest the last governorship election and it is ridiculous for any individual, family or group to feel hurt as if their means of livelihood has been snatched.

“Hon Deji Ogunsakin has decided to remain calm in the face of these embarrassing and unfounded claims on social media in the last 24hrs even though we know who is behind the outbursts but he will not join issues with them.

“Hon Deji Ogunsakin has been in Ado-Ekiti for well over a month, held several meetings with party stakeholders and nobody has ever accussed him of any fraud or mismanagement of fund.

“We passed vote of confidence in his leadership few days ago and we will continue to stand by him.

For us as a people, we shall pursue the claims of Mr Isaac Fayose to logical end for stalking our son on social media and we believe justice will be served he concluded.
