Ekiti State Police Command has paraded a 19-Year-ld Suspects for allegedly defiling a 15-Year-Old Victim.
According to statement by the police spokesman, SP, Sunday Abutu, the suspect was arrested by the Divisional Police Headquarters, Oke-ila, on 07/03/2025 at about 11:40hrs.
The suspect known as Olajobi Taiwo of Dallimore Street, Ado-Ekiti, committed the offense alongside his friend who is curently at large.
Investigation revealed that the victim, for the fear of being beaten by her mother for wrong doing, ran away from the house, only to be lured by the two suspects to their room where they both forcefully had carnal knowledge of her.
The case has been transferred to the Gender Based Violence Unit of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, State Headquarters, Ado-Ekiti, for thorough investigation.
