Staff of the Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti who were recently reinstated have called on the Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji to prevail on the University’s Management to pay their 29-month entitlements as directed by the Industrial Court.
The concerned Staff who spoke with newsmen in Ado-Ekiti recounted their ordeal in the quest for survival as life has become unbearable for them as a result of debts and impoverishment.
According to them, all attempts to appeal to the Vice-Chancellor had met deaf ears despite Court’s judgment that reinstated them with all their entitlements.
They accused the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Edward Olanipekun of feeding the general public with lies about the true position of the institution.
The reinstated staff called on the Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji to come to their rescue before the matter degenerated into further misadventures.
Nonetheless, their entitlements have been computed and will be paid as soon as the financial resources are available.
