PALMSUNDAY: PASTOR OSUNDUN CAUTIONS CLERICS AGAINST DEVISIVE MESSAGES

Religious Leaders have been advised to desist from preaching what will not give glory to the name of God, contribute to the development of humanity and society.

The Cleric incharge of the Redeemed Christians Church of God, RCCG, Palace of Peace Parish, Olorunsogo Ado Ekiti, Pastor Kolade Osundun who gave the advice during a sermon in the Church noted that preaching devisive messges could cause war and disunity among the people.

In his topic “Dont sleep after sowing”, pastor Osundun expressed disatisfaction how some religious leaders mislead their members through diluted and awkward messages, saying such would not give room to spiritual growth and society development.

The Cleric noted that pastors should be agents of change and society development, saying if pastors failed in their responsibilities, there would be decadence and crisis in the society.

Pastor Osundun also used the forum to appealed to those at the helms of affairs in Nigeria to rule base on God direction, noting that without that it would be difficult to overcome challenges facing Nigeria as nation.
