Osun Guber: Adeleke calls on Oyetola to work with him

…says he is not joining issues with him

Following Appeal Court affirmation of
People Democratic Party, PDP Candidate, Ademola Adeleke as elected Governor of Osun state, he has called on his rival the former State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola to work with him and move the state forward.

Adeleke made the call today while speaking with reporters, saying that he is not going to join issues with the former Governor.

Adeleke said, “Immediately after the news of the Appeal Court, I called the Former Governor to work with me, up till now he has not called me to congratulate me, my hands are open lets come together and move Osun forward.”

It could be recalled that Adeleke was declared winner of the state Governorship election by the the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, but was nullified by Tribunal judgement after the then Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola an All Progressive Congress, APC Candidate seeked re-dress. However, Abuja Appeal Court has recently reaffirmed Adeleke as the elected Governor of Osun state.

Furthermore, the Governor promised to pay the state workers arrears owned by the past Government.

Speaking on the road network in the state, Adeleke said, “when I saw the abandoned road I felt I’m going to do something.”
