….I’m honoured..Hon. Omojola Reacts

The Old students of the Ansar Ur-Deen High School, Ikole Local Government on Saturday organized a befitting reception in honour of the Chairman of Ikole Local Government who is one of them, Hon Bayo Omojola.

At the colourful ceremony held within the premises of the school, the Old Students showered encomium on Hon. Omojola for the height he has attained and prayed God to continue to elevate him to a greater position in life.

Addressing the gathering, Hon. Omojola thanked his colleagues for the gesture urging them to come together and contribute to the growth and development of their Alma mater.

According to him, the institution holds a special place in his heart not because it shaped his academic foundation but it instilled values that have guided his path in service and leadership.

Hon. Omojola promised to continue to be a good ambassador of the school by serving diligently as the council chairman and making meaningful impact in the lives of the people of the council.

The Chairman said:”It is truly an honor to stand before you today as an alumni member of Ansar Ur-Deen, Ikole LG, where my journey in education began in the class of 1983. This institution holds a special place in my heart, shaping not only my academic foundation but instilling values that have guided my path in service and leadership.

“I express my deepest gratitude to the Ansar Ur-Deen Ikole LG Alumni Association for bestowing upon me the privilege of being honored and hosted on this auspicious occasion. Reconnecting with fellow alumni is a nostalgic journey, a reflection on the shared experiences that have molded us into the individuals we are today.

“As we gather to celebrate our alma mater, let us not only reminisce about the past but also contemplate the responsibility that comes with our shared history. The education we received here wasn’t just about textbooks and classrooms; it was about character, integrity, and a commitment to making a positive impact in our respective spheres. So, if anyone says the little Bayo of those days will attained this level, one would have denied, but we give thanks to God Almighty.

“The strides we make in life are often a testament to the values instilled during our formative years. Ansar Ur-Deen, Ikole LG, played a pivotal role in shaping not just my academic acumen but also nurturing a spirit of community service and leadership. Today, I stand before you as the Chairman of Ikole Local Government, a position that comes with profound responsibility and an unwavering commitment to community development.

“I extend my heartfelt appreciation to the Ansar Ur-Deen Ikole LG Alumni Association for their dedication to fostering a sense of unity among us. This gathering is an opportunity not only to reconnect but also to envision how we, as alumni, can contribute to the continued growth and excellence of our alma mater.

“As we reflect on the past and celebrate the present, let us collectively look towards the future. Our shared experiences at Ansar Ur-Deen, Ikole LG, have equipped us with the tools to be catalysts for positive change. I encourage each one of us to leverage our skills, knowledge, and networks to contribute meaningfully to the betterment of our alma mater and the broader community.
