Obi campaigns in Kwara, calls for calm over CBN naira redesign

he Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi has called on Nigerians to exercise patience over the Central Bank of Nigeria new naira redesign policy.

Obi said: “Be calm over naira challenge, please discard the idea of protest. We will enjoy the big gains of the naira policy in the long runs.”

Some Twitter users said: “Its the turn of Nigerians to take back what belongs to them through peter Obi.

“I have to shame or shyness in supporting peter Obi to bring equity and justice to Nigeria. It’s 19 days to our general election, its the turn of Kwara state to submit to a new Nigeria of our dream as we welcome our incoming president.”
