Obadoye Solomon Emerges Chairman, AAEUN Ekiti, as Union Elects New Executives

The Nigeria Union of Agriculture and Allied Employees (AAEUN) Ekiti State Chapter has elected new Executive Committee Members.

The executives were elected during an election held at the NLC house, Egbewa, Ado Ekiti.

The new Executives are: Com Obadoye Solomon Olawale (Chairman); Com Aribisala Sunday Ojo (Treasurer); Com. Ayibiowu Comfort laumoke (woman cood.); Com. Ibrahim Ikeji (welfare); Com. Suuru Ayoola Abiodun (Trustee); Com. Apadaba Babatunde (Auditor); Com. Kolapo Omotayo Comfort (Ex Officio 1); Com. Olufemi Charles (Ex Officio 2).

The oath of office was administered on the new leadership by the Head of Department, Education and Training Unit, National Headquarters of the Union Comrade Ige Olugbenga Michael.

Addressing the gathering, the National Vice President, Southwest Zone of the Union, Comrade Bamigbola Jacob Kehinde warned against seat tight syndrome urging leaders to serve with sincerity.

He congratulated the newly elected officers and urged them to justify the confidence reposed in them.

Also, the Chairman, Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, Comrade, Olatunde Kolapo represented by the Congress Secretary, Dr. urged Union Leaders to shun politics of calumny and hatred but work in unison to fight for the general interest of the union.
