NYSC POP: Over 1063 Corps members bow out of Scheme in Ekiti

Over 1063 of 2022 Batch ‘B’, stream II corps Members have bowed out of National Youth Service Corps, (NYSC) scheme during their passing out parade in Ekiti State.

In a farewell message by the outgoing State coordinator, Mary Nenna Chikezie, she charged the passing out CMs to create future for themselves by taking on opportunity that avail itself to them.

“As you are aware ; a new phase of your life is dawn; I urge you to progress and remain committed to the ideals of the Nysc scheme, to advocate and promote equitability , good governance , patriotism, positive thinking, discipline, and commitment.

“Building an egalitarian Nigeria is our collective responsibility, while there may be a dearth of good virtues out there, I appeal to you to stand out: be one of the elixirs of word’s problem’s, do not ever join the bandwagon.” She stated.

She also commended the Governor of Ekiti state, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, for his laudable unstinting support to the scheme.

During a cross – section with the Ex- corps members in Ado – Ekiti, they said that they hope to utilize the skills learnt after service.

An Ex- corps member in Ado-Ekiti Miss Akpila Ibebierice Benard, also says that she hope to utilise her make-up skills she learnt from the SAED program after service year.

Another Ex-corps member Miss Kalu, Oluchi Favour, stated: “The dedicated NYSC officials and instructors who guided and supported us throughout the program, your commitment to our well-being and growth is truly commendable. Your guidance and mentorship have been instrumental in shaping our character and nurturing our potential. I am forever grateful for your unwavering support and encouragement.

“I would also like to express my heartfelt appreciation to the members of the community where I was stationed. Your warm welcome, generosity, and acceptance have made my time here truly memorable. The opportunity to immerse myself in your culture and contribute to your development has been an honor and a privilege. I will forever cherish the friendships formed and the lessons learned from each one of you.”
