Greets Ewi of Ado Over Udiroko Celebration
The Chairman of the National Union of Road Transporort Wokers NURTW, Ekiti State, Mr Osho Farotimi has commended the step taken by Ekiti State governor elect, Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji BAO for moving round to appreciate people for voting for him during the last governorship election.
Mr Farotimi who expressed this in Ado Ekiti while addressing newsmen said the step was first of its kind since the creation of Ekiti State.
Mr Osho Farotimi known as Oshopolo explained that the move was an evidence that the governor elect will perform and build on the achievements of governor kayode Fayemi.
He reaffirmed that all members of NURTW were solidly behind Mr Oyebanji with a promise to support his administration to achieve success.
The Ekiti State NURTW used the opportunity to congratulate the Ewi of Ado Ekiti, Oba Adeyemo Adejugbe, members of Ewi in Council, Eyesorun and all indigenes of Ado Ekiti for witnessing this year’s Udiroko festival.
Oshopolo prayed God to grant the Ewi of Ado, Oba Adeyemo Adejugbe long life and good health to celebrate many more festival.
According to him, Ado Ekiti has witnessed tremendous peace and progress within the reign of the monarch.
He however appealed to members of NURTW in the state to always obey traffic rules with a promise to prioritize their welfare.
