Nigeria Needs Radical Leaders Like Tinubu-Shettima…Group

A social-political organization known as APC Network Group has described the choice of former Governor of Borno State, Alhaji Kashim Shettima as the running mate for the APC presidential candidate,  Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a perfect match for the present day Nigeria.

According to the group, the currently critical state of the things in the  country particularly the issue of insecurity and economic downturn requires radical, experienced, dogged and principle leaders like Tinubu and Shettima considering their antecedents as to term  governors.

The group spoke through its National Coordinator, Bishop Olusegun Adedokun during a meeting with APC Vice Presidential Candidate Kashim Shettima in Lagos, Lagos State.

Also at the meeting were the trustees of the group, Olalekan Ijidale, Tosin Adedokun and
Funmilayo Olubiyo

Bishop Adedokun urged Nigerians to put aside sentiments and differences and vote for the APC flagbearer in the interest of Nigeria’s development.

He on behalf of the group  declared support for the APC candidates and promised to mobilize more youth groups to join the train towards a better Nigeria.

In a remark,  one of the trustees of the group, Hon. Olalekan Ijidale narrated the strategies being put in place to canvass and mobilise for Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Sen. Kashim  Shettima in the forthcoming presidential election.

Responding, Alhaji Shettima appreciated the group for the visit and their words of encouragement.

Alhaji Shettima promised his readiness and that of the presidential candidate to roll their sleeves and work hard to return the country to a path of honour.

He said the empowerment of youths and women would be given top priority while pragmatic steps would be adopted to enhance trade and investment.
