Next ECOWAS Chair: APC Postpones Caucus Meet, Celebrates Tinubu

Following the report of the emergence of President Bola Tinubu as the next Chairman of the Economic Community of West African States ECOWAS, the All Progressives Congress, APC has congratulated Tinubu and postponed its national caucus executive committee meetings.

The ruling party made this known in a statement on its verified Twitter handle @OfficialAPCNg.

According to the statement, the party postponed its national caucus executive committee meetings to July 18th and 19th due to the regional and sub-regional schedules and engagements of President Tinubu.

The statement partly reads: The APC family congratulates President Bola Tinubu on his emergence as Chairman of the Authority of the Heads of State and Government of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), during its 63rd ordinary session in Bissau, the capital of Guinea-Bissau.”
