New Year Message: Irewolede Chairperson Felicitates Citizens, Solicits Support Towards Tax Drive

The Chairperson of Irewolede Local Council Development Area, LCDA, in Ekiti State, Hon. Dupe Bakare, has congratulated residents of the area for the grace to witness the new year.

in her New Year goodwil message, the chairperson solicited the support of residents of the area in the new year to consolidate on the 2022 achievements.

The message which was conveyed by the Director of Information in the LCDA, Tope Obembe, said that the council would commence Tax Drive from January 2023, aimed at improving the Internally Generated Revenue of the LCDA.

While commending the efforts of the traditional leaders, spiritual fathers, market women, political stakeholders, Mrs. Bakare implored them to comply with the payment of all necessary government taxes to aid rapid development of the council.

She expressed optimism that the year 2023 would be filled with blessings geared towards ensuring that the council ranks among the best in the state.

The chairperson solicited the support of all the six communities in the council area to pay their tax and other government levies.

“The council chairperson hope that the year 2023 will be full of blessing and she appreciates all the workers for the support giving so far in order to make sure that the council rank among the best in Ekiti State.”
